Jess assists with our protected species surveys in Surrey and the Southeast. She has experience in Extended Phase 1 surveys, GCN pitfall trapping and translocation, reptile surveys and translocation, bat, badger and dormouse surveys. She has a particular interest in dormice, and is a regular box-checker for the National Dormouse Monitoring Programme. Jess has also volunteered for the London Wildlife Trust, the Natural History Museum, and as an eel monitor for the Zoological Society of London. She also runs her own wildlife-oriented craft business, Silver Pasta, and is a keen outdoor swimmer.
