Jess has experience in Extended Phase 1 surveys, GCN pitfall trapping and translocation, reptile surveys and translocation, bat badger and dormouse surveys. She has a particular interest in dormice, and has volunteered on box checks in Surrey as part of the National Dormouse Monitoring Programme since 2014. Formerly, Jess worked for Acorn Ecology Ltd, and volunteered for the London Wildlife Trust, Natural History Museum and as an eel monitor for the Zoological Society of London.
