Jonathan is a consultant ecologist with a diverse skill set, and a range of EPS survey and mitigation licences. As a botanist, he performs Phase 1 and NVC surveys, targeted species surveys, and leads workshops in grass ID. He is also a bat specialist with CL15 and CL18 disturbance licences, and has obtained development licences for six species, including natterer's and lesser horseshoe bats. He is also an experienced badger surveyor, and has performed artificial sett installation and sett closure under licence. As if these specialisms were not enough, he is also an proficient herpetologist, coordinator of the Dorset Flora Group, and a volunteer leader for Amphibian and Reptile Conservation.
